Hi I'm Jonathan

I'm a convert, just a little crippled (for now), competitive at times, a hopeless romantic, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Recently I picked up a passion for getting hit by cars. I love being active. Going outside and playing a sport (mainly soccer), working, learning new things in school, or taking a break from reality and entairtaining my brain, I like to keep myself busy. I enjoy giving service when possible. I don't like taking myself too seriously, but when I need to be focused and able to do something that is asked of me I do it. I love pushing things to their limits, which includes myself or others. I enjoy a good competition now and then. I wish I only had to sleep 6-7 hours a day so I could have time to do more things. Christ is the ultimate example in my life, that's why I'm taking a break from regularity and serving a mission now.

Why I am a Mormon

Well a good question is why isn't everyone else? But in all seriousness I am a Mormon thanks to the sacrifices of my family. After my Mother was introduced to the church and then while I was growing up, I always felt that what I was learning and then being inspired to do was true and it came from God. Many have tried to tear down my faith in Christ and my believe that this is His true church and gospel, so much that I often found myself seeking a reassurance from God that it is. Every time that I have done so with an open mind, sincere heart, and real intent I've received the same answer, that it is. I hope that as I do my best by living the covenants I've made with God and living Christs gospel, others in return will say "why isn't everyone a mormon?". I hope everyone can receive this peace of mind and heart as they draw closer to their Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

Each morning I wake up (currently at 6:25), and get on my knees to pray. I think about the people I can help today and how I can find them if I already haven't. I then continue to prepare myself for the amazing upcoming day that I will have. Eating is an enjoyed hoby of mine during this time. When I'm out and about, and talk to others wether outside or after I knock their doors, I tell them that I am a representative of Christ, here to share His blessings and Gospel. Wether people recieve the invitation, I know that I must do my best to let them know that God loves them. I live my faith by taking each day at a time and keeping it down to earth so people can understand, technically I just have to be me.

What is being a Mormon like?

Jonathan
You have a certain glow about you, you seem to almost always be happy or smiling, enjoy church (if you understand of you go there in the first place). Peace of mind? Check. Being a mormon is having joy. Joy is when your happy for an enlongated amount of time. You know what your doing is right. Your always learning of Christ and His infinite sacrifice and of His Gospel. It's really amazing, everyone should do it and get to know their Savior a little better in life and see how bad people can become good and good people become better. You always feel like a Boss.
