Hi I'm Shannah

I am a wife, mother, and educator by profession. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a homemaker and love spending my days doing just that. I studied family finance during my undergrad and elementary education as a graduate student. I have studied to be the best I can be at what I have chosen to do as my profession.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that you can find no greater happiness than the joy of family, friends, and community. The gospel of Jesus Christ fosters this with a basic doctrine to "Love One Another." We can all do this in every and any setting we choose to be in. Such a basic truth to show respect, concern, and equality to everyone, no matter the circumstance, can only bring about good.

How I live my faith

I serve in my community by regularly donating my time to those in need whether it be sewing blankets or buntings for a local hospital, coordinating activities for local women to learn and enhance their personal talents, or simply taking a treat of goodies to a lonely neighbor.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

Shannah
Through regular study of scriptures we gain an understanding of the relationship we can all have with God as individuals. He knows us all and has a plan for each of us. God will always show us His love as we seek Him out through study and prayer. Show more Show less
