Hi I'm Tyler

I'm from Colorado, I love playing music and soccer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 21 years old, and I breath music. I love listening to it all the time, and in what little free-time I've got, I play and write my own music, or at least try to. Nothing can ever replace music in my life, and I would never try to do it. I'm always on the lookout for new instruments to learn, and so far I've got 8 or 9 down. I grew up on country music, but my interests span many horizons. Through music, I share my testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with anyone who will listen. I also love being active. As far as sports go, if there's no soccer in heaven, I'm not goin'! I'm an outdoorsman, participating in hiking, backpacking, biking, hunting, fishing, geo-caching, and other things that I can't remember.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, I was born in the Church, and I absolutely love it! I've never doubted the legitimacy of the Restoration of Christ's Church, but after serving a mission in Germany, my love of my Savior has increased a thousand times over. I have come to love the Book of Mormon more than any other book, and sharing the Gospel with all kindreds, tongues and people is what I do...and I wouldn`t trade anything for it! The blessings that come from the Gospel are real, and as I read and pray daily, I`ve found that the trials that come my way are not as difficult as other people make them out to be. Choices become easier, and life becomes happier. Everything about the Gospel makes sense to me, and I love learning more and more about it, because the knowledge of God has no limit. And if we, as James says, ask in faith, Our Heavenly Father will not keep His children in darkness, but will enlighten our minds, and bring our knowledge closer to His. In short, I'm a Mormon because I love to learn, and God has arranged it so that I can learn forever.

How I live my faith

I am a returned missionary who served in Frankfurt Germany. I talk to everyone I can about the Gospel and how it has affected my life. I have learned to put all my trust in the Lord, and rely on him in every aspect in my life from how to teach people to planning my day. Other missionaries can attest to this. I try and set an example for others by making sure I live a Christ-like life, and by showing them what Mormons do or don´t do. I tell people about the wonderful message that God loves His children, and that He wants to has a personal relationship with everyone. I talk with Him every day, and I know that He answers me back...just as any loving father would. I take what I learn from the scriptures and apply it to my life, because the things we learn are true, eternal principles, and nothing can take away from the truthfulness of God's Word.
