Hi I'm Blake C.

I love to make new friends, and socialize a lot. Oh, and I’m a Mormon.

About Me

I am a middle-aged guy who has been very blessed. I have a beautiful wife. I have two children, one son, and one daughter. I also have a hound dog (she thinks she is human too).

Why I am a Mormon

I have a very strong knowledge of the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that this church is the church of God. I have gained this knowledge through much fasting and prayer. I know that ALL of the teachings in this church are true. I am proud to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, or more familiar to others "The Mormons."

How I live my faith

I love the Church! It really is my center. I attend my meetings weekly. I try to live the best I can. I am far from perfect, however The Gospel of Jesus Christ helps me focus and stay on course. I am active in the High Priest Group and have the opportunity to visit ward members often. This helps me get to know the members of my community. My wife is the ward Primary President. She is actively trying to teach the children of our local ward about Jesus Christ and of His teachings. My son is serving as a full-time missionary in the Lubbock Texas Mission. He has been serving on his mission for about 18 months now. My daughter is a very hard worker. She may be the most focused person in our family. As a lot of kids do she began her college education along side of her high school education. She is pursuing a career as a RN. (Nurse) She is well on her way. She is currently away at college. So my wife and I are empty-nesters, however our family stays in contact daily/weekly. I am so happy. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is our anchor.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Blake C.
Life can be hard and I feel that everyone needs a good support system. My family helps keep each other on track and headed in the right direction. We support and encourage each other in all that we do. I am not sure how I would handle things in life if I didn't have my family to hold me up. Each member of our family has a personal testimony of the Savior Jesus Christ, and with this knowledge it helps us move forward regardless of what may come our way. I am truly grateful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I love my family and would not trade it for anything. Show more Show less
