Hi I'm Logan

I'm a missionary in Norway, loving life, and trying to help others. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Alaska, and lived there for 8 years before moving to Utah. I love computers and technology, as well and reading and sports. I'm now in Norway, learning and speaking Norwegian, trying to help everyone I can to feel the same happiness that this message has given me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church, and have tried to live it's standards my whole life. There was a time when I wasn't too sure if I believed it was true, but I still felt like the church was good and did good things, so I kept living the standards. It wasn't until I started preparing to serve a mission, go out and share the message with others, that I started to realize the blessings that living the standards of the church had given me. I started really trying to find out that the Book of Mormon, and the church I belonged too, were really true. I started reading in the Book of Mormon every day, because I knew that it was the key factor. If the Book of Mormon is real scripture, the word of God, then the church is true, and Joseph Smith was a prophet. As I started reading every day, as well as praying, I came to find that my life was changing. My desires became more centered on the needs of others, and not myself. There were less problems and challenges in my life. When I had nothing to think about and would just evaluate my life, I was more content, instead of just being disappointed in myself and trying to distract myself with a game or activity, or something else to think about. That's when I started to realize that these changes in my life, and the increased happiness, were a direct result of my efforts to live the standards of the church and my daily reading and prayer. I know now that this church really is true. The Book of Mormon is scripture, Joseph Smith was a prophet, and Thomas S. Monson is God's prophet today. I can tell that to these people here in Norway, and I'm going to try to do everything I can to help them understand what it is that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has to give them.

How I live my faith

Right now, I'm a full-time missionary for the church. I'm living in Norway, which is absolutely beautiful, and I get moved around according to where God needs me. I go out everyday and speak with people, trying to share with them the message of Jesus Christ, and His church on the earth today. I also teach these people the principles and standards of the church, and show them how they can find out it's truth as well, by reading in the Book of Mormon, and praying to their Father in Heaven. It's pretty much the best job in the world. =)
