Hi I'm Jamie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother of 3, with number 4 on the way. My number one hobby is couponing, gotta love a good deal! And I LOVE to have regular dance parties with my kiddos in the living room!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up Mormon, went to church regularly, and had parents who set a great example of what a Mormon stands for. I'm STILL a Mormon because I cannot deny the Savior's hand in my life. Jesus Christ is the reason my life has meaning, perspective, happiness. I know who I am, I know why I am here, and I know I can be with my family forever. Jesus Christ Atoned for me so I would be given the chance to have that gift!

How I live my faith

I live my faith one day, one hour, one minute at a time. I take advantage of prayer often as I seek for guidance in raising my children. I feel comfort countless times throughout my week knowing that the trials I endure are to give me strength. I look at my beautiful family and happy life and give thanks to a loving Father in Heaven for my many blessings.

Who founded Mormonism and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

Joseph Smith was only 14 when God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ came to visit him. He was a young boy with a big question. He wanted to know what church to join, he wanted to know for himself which of the churches he had visited was the correct one, which one would give him the truth. His parents had taught Joseph Smith to study the Bible and seek for answers. He read in James 1:5 that if he needed an answer all he had to do was pray and ask. He humbly went in to the woods near his home and prayed to God. . . and he received a miraculous answer. Show more Show less
