Hi I'm Luis

I am the only Mormon in my family, it's hard but it's totally worth it.

About Me

I am studying Psychology, I love it! I like writing, reading, listening to music and I love to play scrabble. I like classical music, rock, pop, and I love OPERA! I like learning languages, I know Spanish, English, and some French. I love meeting people from other countries, and learn about different cultures.

Why I am a Mormon

I baptized into this church, because I know this is the true church. I used to be a devoted Catholic as the rest of my family, but I knew there was something missing, I never did like the fact that we had to pray to saint and virgins. I didn't like the fact of having to listen to a priest every Sunday, and that when asked something the priest will always find a way to avoid answering, since he didn't have an answer. I learned about this church trough a friend, he talked to me about it, but I didn't believe or want to hear anything he said. He then gave me a Book of Mormon, which I didn't read, then he asked me to pray and I did, and my prayer was answered, I then talked to missionaries, and I was more than convinced that this was the true church of Jesus Christ. I told my mom about it, but she didn't want to let me baptized, I struggle for over half a year for her to let me, and finally she did. I was baptized then confirmed, and it has been the most awesome thing in my life. I wouldn't change it for anything.

How I live my faith

I love helping people, when I find people in need I always try to help, in whatever way possible, I know that by doing this I am following the example of Jesus Christ and that brings me joy.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

No, Mormons help everyone no matter what religion they practice or what country they live in. During natural disasters, the church helps those in need even if they are not Mormons. Show more Show less
