Hi I'm Scott

I love to swim, sing, act and eat cheese. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to smile and have fun. I am currently attending school in Idaho. I am planning to become a high school social studies and theatre teacher. I love learning about other religions and cultures. I love being with friends and having fun with them. I am a huge cheese fan. Anything that has cheese on it, I will eat. When I am not in school I am earning money by teaching swim lessons, which is great for me cause I am mixing two things that I love together, teaching and swimming. I have known my whole life that I am going to be a teacher. It is something that I have always had a great passion for. I love everything about the theatre. I love the technical aspect as well as the acting part of it. I also love to sing. Right now I am in the Men's Choir in college. Singing has always been a huge part of my life. I would sing along with the radio or tv when I was just a little kid.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church but didn't always have a strong testimony of the church. It wasn't until I had served a mission in Canada that I knew that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. I was blessed with seeing many wonderful miracles of people's lives changing for the good because of the gospel. I remember being in the temple sealing room witnessing a family being sealed together for time and eternity when the Spirit witnessed to me that the gospel is real and that Jesus is the Christ. It was then that I knew without a shadow of a doubt that the Atonement is real and that Christ suffered for me so that I can repent of my sins and return to live with my Father in heaven again with my family. That was a wonderful tender mercy that the Lord has given and that has changed my life so much since.

How I live my faith

I am currently attending a church school where I am surrounded by others who share the same beliefs and standards that I have. I am learning more and more every day about how to become a better disciple of Christ. I recently taught the little kids in my ward. I loved seeing how much the primary children knew about the gospel. I know that I learned more from them than they did from me.

Are Mormons Christians?

Scott
Yes we are! I know that God does live. I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior and Redeemer of the world. I know that it is only through the Atonement of Jesus Christ that we can be saved. Show more Show less
