Hi I'm Christi

I listen to Classic Rock. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom. I live for naptime and date night. Although the laundry and housework keep me busy, I love to make time to read, workout and shop. I also enjoy just getting together with friends and having fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon faith, but when I was a teenager I decided I needed to know if the things I had been taught were true. I still remember kneeling beside my bed and asking God if it was right. The Holy Ghost answered my prayer with a clarity of mind-telling me it was right, as well as with a warm feeling in my heart. I know Heavenly Father knows and loves each one of us. This brings me such comfort when I feel alone or upset. Being a stay at home mom can be a pretty thankless job, so it gives me a lot of comfort to know that Heavenly Father knows me and wants to help me do my best in all that I do-even the mundane everyday tasks. I feel joy knowing that I am a daughter of God and that He loves me.

How I live my faith

I plan activities for the women at church. The goal for our activities are to help the women increase their faith in Jesus Christ, strengthen their families and homes, and to serve the Lord and His children. I plan all kinds of activities from book clubs to learning new skills to making blankets for children in crisis.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

When you invite the Mormon missionaries to come to your home, they will talk about Christ. They will testify that He is the Son of God, the Savior of the world. They will also talk about the importance of prophets. They will share with you a copy of the Book of Mormon, and tell you more about our beliefs. They may invite you to attend church.
