Hi I'm Kiesha

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, foster mom, daughter, and sister. I love to sing and play games! I live with bi-polar disorder, diabetes, and fibromyalgia but am not defined by them. I love my family and spend lots of time with them. Life is terribly difficult, but it is ok because He has overcome it all.

Why I am a Mormon

The Holy Ghost has testified to me that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that through His Atonement I can be reunited with Him and my Heavenly Father after this life. The Spirit has also witnessed to me that the scriptures are true and that through Joseph Smith the fullness of the Gospel has been restored in these latter days. The Priesthood authority has also been restored so that those worthy to hold the keys to this power can lead, guide, and direct us in this world of growing wickedness. The temple is the most wonderful place on earth to feel closer to God and learn more of His plan of happiness for us, His children. I am thankful to be blessed with a testimony that these things are true and the knowledge about who I am and what I need to do and where I am going is mine. I am truly grateful for the abundance of blessings I receive from my loving Father in Heaven and through his Son, Jesus Christ. I am most thankful for repentance and knowing that we can be eternal families! I love the good news of the Gospel and the happiness and joy it brings to me in my life of trials!

How I live my faith

My family means so much to me so we focus on teaching our children good moral values. Many church programs help us with this most important goal. We love to say prayers together and study the scriptures as a family as well as separately. I also have the privilage to be a visiting teacher which means that I am assigned a few wonderful women in my ward to go visit with and teach every month. This allows me to get to know people and to be of service for these special ladies. I have also helped in teaching the children, leading music, and working with the scouts.
