Hi I'm David S.

I'm a husband, a father, an Electrical Engineer, a marathon runner, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I have three active kids that occupy almost all our free time. For work, I design analog circuits for high-speed serial interfaces on computer chips. I run every day but Sunday for an hour or two (or three) before anyone else at home is awake.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I read the Book of Mormon as a teenager and knew it was true. I liked reading the words of Nephi, Alma, and King Benjamin and knew they were real people with an important message. Once I realized that for myself, I knew God wanted me in this church.

How I live my faith

I serve as a clerk, so I take care of record keeping and generally making things go easier for the Bishop of our congregation. On my own, I study the scriptures each day and ponder them while I run, or drive to work. I also find great comfort and peace praying and talking to Heavenly Father about my worries and my goals.
