Hi I'm Chad

I live in southern California. I'm married to my beautiful wife. Together we have 5 children, two who are in Heaven. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband to a beautiful wife and a father to 5 great children, three still living. I love watching movies, basketball, the Tour de France and Mixed Martial Arts. I once ran the St. George, UT marathon. Lately, I like to ride my bike and run. When I'm not playing, I'm an Inspector for Los Angeles County.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to a family active in the Mormon church. As a youth, I always said I knew the Church taught correct doctrine, but I didn't gain a true conviction until I was about 14 years old. One week a substitute teacher taught my Sunday School class. She looked each of us in our eyes and told us with certainty that she knew that Jesus Christ was her Savior and that His gospel was correct. She challenged each of us to learn for ourselves if these things were true. While she spoke, I had a powerfully warm confirmation that what she taught was true. I then knew like she that my Savior lived and loved me. I felt nearer to Him than ever been before. I had a feeling of confidence and felt like I could conquer the world! Since then, whenever I follow His commandments, my heart is touched and my faith in Christ is strengthened.

How I live my faith

I am naturally a quiet person, not calling attention to myself. I strive to be humble in all that I do. I live my faith by being honest with the people I associate with at work, at home and at church. I spend time with my family by playing and working with them. I read the scriptures and pray with them. I'm not perfect, but am working daily to become a better person - the one my Heavenly Father wants me to be.
