Hi I'm Donna

I am an Air Force Brat. I grew up all over the world. I am a wife and mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As I said, I grew up in the Air Force. It was great seeing places all over the world. I am now married to the most wonderful man in the world and the mom to 4 gorgeous kids ranging in ages 15 to 26. With the oldest child being married for a few years now, I am really looking forward to becoming a grandma one day, hopefully soon. I work as a book keeper for a family-owned business. I love music. I began playing the piano when I was 4 years old and find that when I play the music comes straight from my heart.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church. I was baptized when I was 8 years old, but I was truly converted to the Gospel when I was a teenager. I was sitting on the side of a mountain in the Bavarian Alps at a Youth Conference for a Sunrise Testimony meeting when the sun came up and shone on the mountain across the ravine and I felt the overwhelming reassurance that my Heavenly Father loved me and made this beautiful earth for each of us to enjoy. I knew that he gave us His Gospel on the earth again to show us the way to make it back to him one day. My testimony of the Gospel has just continued to increase since those early days.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as an early morning Seminary teacher. It is an early morning scripture study class for high school aged students every weekday morning before school. What a way to start my day! I LOVE teaching the youth of the church. I try to volunteer as much as possible in my community. When my kids were younger, I would volunteer once a week in their classrooms. As they grew older, I found the time to volunteer with any extra curricular groups they were involved with such as sports or showchoir.
