Hi I'm Harry

I grew up in Hawaii and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up in paradise was wonderful. Blue skies, sandy beaches, the beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and the ocean provided a perfect environment to appreciate God's creations. Currently, I work in the computer industry in Washington state. My hobbies include video and music production and playing the guitar. I enjoy being a dad and new grandpa.

Why I am a Mormon

My dad and mom joined the church in adulthood. My mom especially taught me the gospel as a child. My testimony of the gospel did not happen all at once. Through my life experiences and praying for a testimony, I bear witness that Jesus is the Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. I testify that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I know of these things independent of anyone or anything and received these witnesses by the convincing power of the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

I served a mission to the people of Japan. Since my mom is Japanese, I was able to learn about my ancestry which enabled me to understand myself better. I was even able to meet some of my relatives there and share with them the gospel of Jesus Christ and its importance in our lives. I serve now by teaching the some of the men of my ward and by working with the young missionaries. I also volunteer at the storehouse weekly, helping those in need with food. I enjoy serving my community and church. It brings me great joy in my life.
