Hi I'm Alyssa

I have grown up in Florida and I enjoy working in the pharmacuetical field. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently attending college to become a pharmacist. At the time I am a certified pharmacy technician. My hobbies include knitting, reading, camping, videography, and photography. I am an only child and I enjoy spending time especially with my family as we go camping together.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born under the covenant through my mom and dad that were married for eternity in the temple. I have been a Mormon all of my life and I continue to live as one because of the happiness and blessings I recieve from being one. I have recieved so many talents, knowlege, and blessings from my Heavenly Father. I believe the church to be true and also the Book of Mormon to be true. As I read the Book of Mormon, I can only feel good come from reading it, and I have learned something new each time. I choose to live the gospel of Jesus Christ everday because I have an everyday anytime ability to talk to him in prayer, to live obediently and return to his presence for eternity, to be worthy to enter the temple someday and marry an eternal companion, and to ultimately recieve the everday guidance of the Holy Ghost and great blessings that come from obedience to his gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through service in the church and to my local community. I have helped serve members in our ward in the youth program and when the southern area mormon churches hosted a day of service. I enjoy and care about helping the people around me that I know I could extend a hand out to. I don't mind giving service at all and I know that Heavenly Father blesses me and those that recieve service. I exemplify my example to my fellow friends, coworkers, church members, community, and school mates by choosing to never drink alcoholic beverages, tea, coffee, caffeine, or do drugs at all. I choose to dress modestly all the time, watch what music I listen to and what movies I watch, and the friends that I allow to influence my life.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Alyssa
Family is so important because Heavenly Father sent us down to this earth to find that special person that he has prepared for each and every one of us and to marry in the house of the lord, the temple. By marrying in the temple couples are bound for eternity and therefore their children are bound to them for eternity. Families are part of the Plan of Happiness, and without them it is hard to experience that great joy that our Heavenly Father sent us down here to have. Families being together forever is of great joy to Mormons as they want nothing more that to be with their closest loved ones throughout the eternities. Show more Show less
