Hi I'm Adam

I'm a husband. A father of triplets. A designer. A New Yorker. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

By day I design book covers at a publisher in Manhattan. By night I help wrangle the kids with my wife in New Jersey. I grew up near Syracuse, New York, served as a missionary in France for two years, love baguettes and cheese, soccer and libraries, indie rock and singing.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I've read the Book of Mormon, pondered and prayed about it's truthfulness, and received confirmation from God that it is true and that it is another witness of Christ. The plan of salvation it outlines—a clear explanation of the purpose of life, that the fulness of Christ's gospel contains—just makes sense and brings me lasting joy and peace. And the promise of living with my family eternally is the greatest blessing being a member of this church has to offer.

How I live my faith

I make time each day to pray as well as study and ponder Christ's teachings and then try to live what I've learned. Following Christ's perfect example is often the most challenging part, but I'm doing my best to live by God's commandments. Each time I mess up, I repent and try again. I surround myself with good friends, media, and language so I can have greater light and truth and the influence of God's spirit more in my life. I work on becoming a better husband and father each day, as well as strengthening my relationships with extended family and friends. I try and seize opportunities to serve—from helping instruct and mentor youth to helping someone move, lending an ear, sharing a kind word or what I know to be true. In this way I am trying to live as the Savior lived who is the center of my faith.
