Hi I'm Lorelei

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, a nurse a southern belle & I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am an empty nester! My husband and I have 3 sons who all got married within 14 months! I am the only girl of 8 children and only had sons, so I am enjoying very much having 3 sweet daughters! We now have a sweet grand daughter, who is the apple of everyone's eye! I have been a nurse for 18 yrs and am currently working on classes to further my education. My hobbies are reading, crocheting, hiking, the beach, especially bonfires on the beach at night, camping, relaxing and watching movies. Most of all I love spending time with my family, especially my sweetheart of many yrs. It's been quite a ride!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because after study of the Book Of Mormon and the Bible the Holy Ghost has touched my heart to know this is the fullness of the Gospel oandf Jesus Christ. I have found great happiness and direction personally and for my family. I have especially found strength and courage to guide our children as they have grown and faced trials of their own. When I keep the commandments of God I feel peace and feel a close relationship to my Savior Jesus Christ. I feel very blessed to have the Knowledge that my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ love me are aware of me and all my needs. I am thankful to my Savior who was willing to come to earth to show us the way to live our lives in a way to be happy and then was willing to suffer an die for my sins so I, with my family may have the opportunity to live with our Heavenly Father again. This is the only church that I can have the promise of living with my family for eternity. Since my family is the most important thing in my life, the thought of being with them forever is wonderful! I know my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live today and loves each one of us. They are there to help us along our path. I am thankful for this knowledge.

How I live my faith

I have served in the church in many capacities over the years. I have spent many years working with the children and teenagers and have worked in the scouting program with our sons as Webelos den leader scout committee chairman. I have also worked with the Women's organization. I am currently teaching the 12 year old Sunday School class and enjoy it very much.
