Hi I'm Jamie

I'm a pharmacist, a travel nut, and love spending all my time outside in my Rocky Mountains. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a pharmacist in a small community in the mountains. I have been married to my best friend Jeremy with whom I love to travel internationally. I really enjoy long-distance running, reading classic literature, and playing hilarious games with lots of people. I so enjoy the beauty of this world and the neat people who I have met.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this faith brings a peace and happiness to my life that can't be beat. I know that I am a daughter of my Heavenly Father. That I lived with him prior to my time here on this earth and that I get to be with him after this life has ended. I am especially excited that I get to be with my husband for more than our small time in mortality. We will get to enjoy happiness and learn and grow together throughout eternity. We will always be together!! The Mormon faith gives purpose and satisfaction and meaning to my life. I love my Savior and his sacrifice and example for me. He has taught me the importance of the choices that we make in this life. Not only will their consequences determine our immediate happiness or misery but will echo into life after death eternity. I know that every person on the earth is known personally to God, and that he truly loves each of us and knows our circumstances. He wants so much for us to succeed and return to His presence. I know that each person can have the opportunity to know the truth of the gospel for themselves and can enjoy the incredible blessings of keeping the commandments. Even if someone didn't learn of the restored truth in their lifetime that they still will have the opportunity to receive all the blessings of the eternities that God has for his children. Through the temples on the earth the priesthood power therein can unite not only families of today forever, but can bind us to our precious ancestors who have come before us. What a blessing this life is to me. I have felt such happiness because I know that I am a daughter of God and have a truly divine potential.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through daily scripture study and both personal and family prayer. I appreciate the beautiful and wondrous creations of God in the outdoors that I feel he made just to make me so happy. A hard days work at my employment brings me satisfaction in using my doctorate degree to help others understand and improve their health. I hope to live my faith through the interaction of others. I really enjoy a church calling I have of being a Visiting Teacher and each month visiting three different girls my age. I have gotten to know them in a way I would never have before. And in a world of decreasing personal communication these visits, along with my Visiting Teacher partner, are very enjoyable time with all the laughing, talking, and sharing our testimonies of our Savior and this the true and restored church on the earth today
