Hi I'm Ken

I am a father of three exciting kids, an amateur wood worker, a novice triathlete and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a lifelong adventurer who is constantly seeking the next big experience. So far in life I have been a cowboy, an extra in two different movies, an engineer, an international business professional, a scout master, a triathlete, and so far I have found my three kids to be the most rewarding adventure and am looking forward to the many great experiences I will have with them while they continue to grow up.

Why I am a Mormon

I love life. I love my family, my children, my neighbors and especially my wife. I am glad to know that all of this is part of Gods plan for us. By reading the scriptures and through much prayer, I have been able to put an eternal perspective on my life which makes me love my life even more. Every thing that happens to us in this life is meant to teach us something. Sometimes the lesson is patience, endurance or even humility. Even the worst trials can make the best lessons and help to make us all better people. Having an eternal perspective on life helps me cope with all the trials I come along every day.

How I live my faith

I have been associated with the boy scouts for the past 10 years and have had ample opportunities to help teach the youth how to serve others. Working with youth is very rewarding as you can shape their lives into our future leaders.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

Ken
The Word of Wisdom is my personal code I have adapted to keep myself healthy. I am always happier if I eat my veggies and get enough exercise and sleep. Putting things in my body that could harm it in any way doesn't appeal to me. Show more Show less
