Hi I'm Carrie

I'm an artist, juggler, former JROTC cadet, a Triplet. And, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy playing sports, such as Volley ball, and Ultimate Frisbee. I also enjoy doing things by myself like reading, drawing, and painting. I like juggling, dancing, laughing, motorcycles, quotes and spending time with my family. My triplet sister and brother are my best friends. And, I'm currently serving the Lord, in a full time mission for the Church.

Why I am a Mormon

I can honestly say that nothing has brought me more joy, or peace than this Gospel. I know that I can be with my family forever. Without a shadow of a doubt, I know that, and knowing that helps me get through the day. Whether it be good or bad, I know that I can be with my family for eternity, and that brings me sooo much joy. I know that there is a prophet here on earth, today, right now, at this time. Leading and guiding us, he is the mouthpiece of our Heavenly Father. And I know, that without this church, living each day would be soo very very difficult for me. I would be lost, uncertain scared and afraid. But.. I have that direction, and that guidance to return to my Heavenly Father to live with him again. And that direction gives me a purpose, something to strive for and a reason to be, and that's all due because of the Church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday. In what I say, in what I do, and how I think. I live it in such a way that when I review what I have done throughout the day, that I can say that I am a representative of Christ. That I can look back and say I did my best, and I tried my hardest. I pray everyday, I read from the scriptures, and I just try to do all I can to live up to the standards that I have, and what the Lord has.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Carrie
Faith is like a talent. You may start out with great potential, and everyone does. To help that talent grow though, you have to work at it. Practicing, or doing exercises to build that talent up. Faith is the exact same. It is a talent. Yes, you may start out only having the basics. But, as you practice it, and use it. The faith that was once good, will increase to become something great. It may be hard, and it may take time, but it is so worth it. Show more Show less
