Hi I'm Anne

I'm happily married, a new mom, passionate about healthy eating and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I've been married 5 years to the love of my life! We have a 1-year old baby girl. We have a little farm with chickens, a garden and an orchard. As a family, we love being outside - working and playing together, sports events, and traveling. I am passionate about healthy living and real foods. I served a church mission in Bulgaria. I speak Bulgarian and French and Bulgarian fluently. I work in the self-help and beauty industry. I love my life!

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because the principles of the gospel taught in the Mormon faith bring me peace, hope and happiness. I find peace in the fact that there is a living Prophet on the earth today to lead and guide all people on the earth as God's mouth-piece. I find happiness in the knowledge that families can be together forever! I look forward to being with my wonderful husband for eternity. I also find comfort in the knowledge that when someone passes on that they are safe and will be reunited with their loved ones someday. I find joy in living a clean and virtuous life. The Mormon Church believes in treating our bodies like a holy temple - with the utmost care. I am grateful for this principle as it has protected my body from harmful substances. I find great joy and hope knowing that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and cares about me. And that the Savior Jesus Christ enables me to be all I am. Most of all, I am grateful for the fact that when I make a mistake I can repent and try again. That knowledge gives me hope that I can continue to become a better person even if I make mistakes. I know that Christ lives and through His power we can too live forever in peace and happiness.

How I live my faith

My Father in Heaven and my Savior Jesus Christ are in the forefront of my mind and my heart every day. I strive to live righteously so I can have the guiding influence of the Spirit with me to make good choices and bring happiness to others. I know that my Heavenly Father is watching over me. He is mindful of my daily activities and hears and answers my prayers. I know that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ that I can overcome challenges and each day become a better person. I am thankful for His redeeming and uplifting power.

What are Mormon church services like? Are visitors allowed at church meetings? Can I attend church?

Yes visitors are welcome to all Sunday church meetings. In fact, we as Mormons find it very exciting when someone chooses to visit our church! Church services are typically 3-hours long and consist of 3 different sections: Sacrament meeting which includes all members of the church. We listen to talks given from other members, sing church hymns and most important partake of the sacrament (bread and water) which is a weekly reminder to live like Christ. The following 2 hours are classes that are split by age (Sunday School) where we study and learn from the scriptures. Show more Show less
