Hi I'm john holland

i have lived in southern california my whole life. i have practiced chiropractic for more than 25 years. i'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a happily married father of five. I am a chiropractor and have lived in California my entire life. I played football in high school and i college. I started writing books a few years ago and would love to pursue that endeavor. I am a 15 handicap golfer and love to hit the links with my three sons who all can beat me. My wife and I love to travel and see the wonders of the world. The people and landscapes to be found around the world are an amazement to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a Christian in my uncle's Baptist church. There I learned that God is fair and just and that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. I was introduced to the Mormon faith when I was young and it only complimented my belief in God. I have found that the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ found in the Mormon church provide answers to all of my inquires about life, death and the eternities. I am Mormon because this church holds the fullness of the gospel and fills my life and existence with love, happiness and purpose.

How I live my faith

My faith in Jesus Christ teaches me that I must love and be kind to my fellowman regardless of his or her faith, race or nationality. I have learned that I have a responsibility uplift any way that I can those that I meet. I love and honor my wife and the covenants and vows that I made in marriage. I love my children unconditionally and endlessly. I attend church meeting consistently and serve my fellowman in what ever capacity that I have ability or knowledge. I search the scriptures regularly, I pray to my Heavenly Father always and I consider myself a true believer in Jesus Christ.

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

john holland
I love the Bible and the teachings that are found within that sacred book. I have grown to know and love the characters found in the pages of the New and Old Testament. I am inspired by the faithfulness of Joseph that was sold into Egypt. I am amazed at the conversion story of Saul known as Paul. I am uplifted by the teachings of John the beloved. I am awed by the willingness of Abraham to sacrifice and follow God. I am enthralled with Moses and his rise to lead the children of Israel to the promised land. Noah's obedience to the calling and will of God when it didn't make complete since for him to build an Arc. John the Baptist's valiance and submission to the Savior. Yes I love the Bible and count it to be the true word of God. Mormons study the Bible and strive to live by the precepts taught within it's pages. It is a great source to learn of God and get to know God and His son Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
