Hi I'm Tyler

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

About Me

I am a husband, a college student, a car enthusiast, and I'm a Mormon. I am focusing on finishing my degree in business, but in my spare time I enjoy going out with my wife, watching movies, playing board games, editing photos/movies, making websites, visiting family, and working on my project car; a highly modified '87 Chrysler Conquest TSI. We love cars!

Why I am a Mormon

Our beliefs are very important and to us and I consider them to be crucial to the maintaining of our wonderful relationship. Our testimonies of Jesus Christ motivate us to go to church, contribute to our communities, and learn more about the gospel. Though my wife and I were both raised by faithful members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we realize that faith is something personal and must be developed on an individual basis. I never made any huge mistakes growing up, but it wasn't till I had a powerful experience with prayer that I truly knew the power of God and the extent of His love. I have found for myself that the Book of Mormon is a second testament of our Savior Jesus Christ. I truly believe that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God, called to be an instrument in restoring the gospel of Jesus Christ. We live in a world of opinions, confusion, and disbelief, but the gospel of Jesus Christ has brought light and understanding in my life. Understanding God's plan has put my life in a new perspective that helps me face daily challenges. I know that God is our Heavenly Father. He loves us. The greatest evidence we have of this is that He sent His son, even Jesus Christ, to suffer and die for the sins of this world. He is our Savior and through His Atonement we can gain eternal life. Starting with faith on His name.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my choices. Every day we make choices. We can choose to not care. We can choose to not change, but by making hard decisions and making an effort to do what is right, I live my faith. I love to learn about the gospel, whether alone or with others, at church or at home, I find the things I learn affect how I live my life. I live my faith by serving others and sacrificing moments of my life to help others, even when every minute of my day is scheduled and precious.
