Hi I'm Lynn

I'm a mother of three amazing children, deeply in love with my husband, love doing anything with family, music, outdoors.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of three wonderful children. Because of my love for them, I want to make every day the best it can be. I cannot think of what I would be or do without each of them. I enjoy sports and exercising. I love to spend time doing just about anything with my family!

Why I am a Mormon

Most of all in life, I want to have my family with me forever. I cannot think of going through this life and hereafter without the support and love of my husband. We work together to make our family and each others happiness the highest priority. By being a mormon, we know that we can be together forever, and that is why I am a mormon. I was raised in the church and remember learning at a young age that my Heavenly Father and Jesus loved me. I loved learning about why I am here and what I can do to return to live with them again. I want to make a difference in other people's lives and help them to feel happiness also. There are so many great things that I enjoy every day by being a faithful member of this church, and I want others to feel the love of the Savior also.

How I live my faith

Right now, I serve in the auxiliary for the women. We have an hour each Sunday where we meet together at church and have a lesson taught on some gospel principle. I also get to help my husband teach his primary 9 year old class. We also meet during the week for other activities which are of interest. What I love about the church is that there are activities for all ages and interests. My boys who are youth age attend seminary each morning before school where they study the scriptures. They also attend a weekly activity night with the youth. My daughter, who is younger, attends a week night activity for her age girls also.I love the morals the church teaches our youth. We also get to participate in church sports activities. We just finished up basketball for the young men and men and women teams. My husband and I talk together about what we want for ourselves and our children and how the church helps us to make good choices for ourselves and our family. We spend time during the week and weekends together as a family. We pray together. We read scriptures together. We take time each week to have family time, usually on Monday Family Night. A lesson or fun time is shared. It is just for our family to grow closer. By spending quality time as a family doing good, fun things, we are learning to love one another as the Savior loves us. We try to serve others as a family also through the church or other ways.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Mormons believe in Jesus Christ and consider ourselves Christian. We believe that he was the Son of God, and that he was born on this earth with Mary has his mother and Heavenly Father as his father. His life is an example to me today,as he served others, taught Heavenly Father's plan for all mankind, and sacrificed for us all so that we could enjoy the blessings of exaltation. He is eternally our Savior, and through his resurrection, and atonement for our sins, we all are saved from death. As we choose to follow Him and repent of our sins, we can return to live with him and Heavenly Father someday, after this life. Show more Show less
