Hi I'm Tami

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I are currently living and traveling full time in our 5th wheel trailer. We sold our home in Arizona almost five years ago and since then we have traveled across the United States working at various seasonal work. We stay in one place from as little as a few days to up to four months or more. We are avid ballroom dancers and look for dancing wherever we go. We often have the opportunity to teach dancing and we get a great deal of pleasure from that. We also enjoy taking cruises and have been on nine so far. There is usually good dancing on board ships and we like seeing new things and meeting new people.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon, but I still went through the conversion process as a young adult. I came to realize the importance of living the teachings of the Savior and how much better my life is when I am doing the things I know are right. There is nothing like reading the Book of Mormon to help you draw closer to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. And how blessed we are in these times to have a living prophet to guide and direct us.

How I live my faith

Since we travel so much, I make it a priority to try and stay in one place on Sunday so that I can attend my meetings. Thanks to lds.org, it is easy to find churches in the area I am visiting. I also try and make sure that I am living the standards of the church at all times and set a good example. We have the opportunity of meeting many different people as we move about and I am aware that I may be the only Mormon they have ever met.
