Hi I'm Linda

I'm a Mormon

About Me

At age 54 I'm a grandma to eight beautiful grandchildren - 4 girls and 4 boys. I have 3 wonderful children (who have 3 amazing spouses) and have been married to my best friend for 34 years. I love being active. Running, biking, hiking, horseback riding, I even tried surfing this summer. I love life and I love learning new things. Most of all...I love my family. They are the best!!!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because of my love for Him. He has helped me through my journey of life every step of the way and at every crossroad. I was converted as a young child. I was very aware of Jesus Christ and His love for me. I knew he was real and heard my prayers. I felt Him in my life and I had a strong conviction that when I made mistakes I could receive forgiveness from Him because he loved me so much! As I got older I walked away from the things that had brought me so much peace. I rejected Him and His gospel and church. But, He never left me. He was always there with open arms and an invitation to come back. After a lot of bad decisions and heartache I did come back. I felt His love and help immediately. I learned to trust Him even when I didn't understand. My journey continues, but through it all I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior, that He loves me, and that if I put my trust in Him He will help me through all the challenges of life.

How I live my faith

I love that I have the opportunity to actively participate and serve others in my church. Right now I am a Den Leader for the Wolf den in our Cub Scout pack. This is the first time I have ever done this, but I have to say I have such a fun time. The boys we work with are so excited and enthusiastic about learning new things!! What a joy it is to watch them achieve their goals. Most of all, through Cub Scouts their faith in Jesus Christ is strengthened.
