Hi I'm Brad

I'm a Family Man First. I'm a Strategist and a Skier. I love Africa. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love people. I want to be that guy who makes everyone feel better about themselves. I am far from perfect at doing so, but I hope to succeed daily at making someone happy. I am most happily married to the most kind and gorgeous woman alive. I have one son that makes me smile constantly. I am, and have always been surrounded by incredibly good family. They are exemplary in every way and I love them. I am studying Economics and Strategy hoping to earn a Masters in Business Strategy. I love learning and have been taught by brilliant and talented people all my life. I work as a strategist for an investment fund and a purchasing director (buyer) for a Surf store. I have my dream job! I love to be with family and friends. I love to ski, travel, design, cycle, read, wake-surf, scuba dive, cook, hike and on and on. I am an amateur piano player and I am really hoping to master the cello. I am devoted to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I want to live my life as a trusted disciple of the Savior.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Savior is REAL and that He LIVES. I have not always had this knowledge but I was blessed with a personal witness that Jesus is the Christ. I have a Heavenly Father as well that loves me and wants me to return to Him. I know that both my Father in Heaven and my Savior want me to be happy in this life and for eternity. My goal is to learn of the Savior, follow His perfect example and do my best to help others do the same. I rely every day on the enabling grace of the Savior and His Spirit to guide me in my efforts to follow Him. My witness of the Savior came through the Book of Mormon, which has brought peace and joy to my life. I know also that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and because of that knowledge I also know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is on the earth. I love His Gospel and I find I am the happiest when I am living it.

How I live my faith

My faith is always with me. I begin each day with prayer and study. I love learning from the scriptures and I find if I don't immerse myself in them each morning I am left empty for the remaining day. I find myself better able to serve others when I have prayed for guidance and help. I do my very best to keep the Spirit with me as a guide at all times. I know now when I have done something that makes me unworthy of His guidance and I try my best to mend the wrong quickly. Without the Spirit I seem to accomplish nothing. I work with the young men of the church between the ages of 12-18. They are remarkable young people and my job is to help them learn patterns of study, prayer and righteous action through one of the programs of the church called Duty to God. I love serving the young men. I also visit and minister to two families in my neighborhood, making sure their needs are met both temporally and spiritually. My faith is most evident within my home. My wife and I both strive to teach our son to follow the Savior. Daily prayer and study as a family has helped keep contention at bay and has allowed the Spirit to teach us. I am most happy when I am at home which has become a sanctuary or peace and comfort for our family. I find that wherever I am or whatever I do it is my faith that guides my choices. I am so grateful for my faith in Jesus Christ. I trust Him. I love Him. I will follow Him.
