Hi I'm Jason

I'm from Idaho. I'm always learning. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband, father, student, biochemist, optometrist in training, triathlete, photographer and adventurer. I can do hard things. Living the Lord's way is sometimes a hard thing, but it has always been the very best thing, for me and my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I choose to be. I was taught the about Gods plan when I was young, and as I grew up I've learned why my family was always so adamant about correct living of good principles. I've seen that when I live to follow the example of Jesus Christ, my life is much happier, more fulfilling, and worthwhile. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has taught me the answers to all the important questions in my life, and helped me have Faith to move forward in the things I don't understand. I've also been blessed to hold the priesthood and been given many opportunities to serve others, including my own wonderful family. I'm a Mormon because I feel it is true, and the church, scriptures, living prophets and apostles lead me Christ and a happy life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by looking for ways to help those around me. Whether it's a ride home from the grocery store, a friendly talk on the bus, help moving heavy boxes, or praying with those who are sad or frustrated, I truly enjoy lifting those around me. In the church I've had the chance to serve as a missionary and as a leader in various groups, and always the best way to change the world for the better is how the Savior did it, one by one, on an individual basis.
