Hi I'm Kevin

I'm a scientist. I was born and raised in Uruguay. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Uruguay. My family moved up to the USA when I was 15 and I now have an amazing wife with two sons and another on the way. My beautiful wife is patiently waiting for me to finish my schooling. I'm working on a PhD in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, doing Multiple Sclerosis research. I love futbol, fishing, camping and playing with my kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I am so grateful to be a Mormon. Though my parents raised me in the Church, I have my own personal and vibrant testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ, his mission, our Heavenly Father's love for us, and of his calling of the prophet Joseph Smith. I love knowing that we have Prophets today, just as the Lord had them for us thousands of years ago.

How I live my faith

At Church, I am the Ward Mission Leader. I love it. I get to help the missionaries with whatever they need. This means that I often get to help them teach and share my faith with many others. There are few things that are more rewarding than teaching the Gospel. Everything else moves into the backstage as you teach others of God's plan for us. There is no better feeling than having the Spirit confirm in your heart what you are doing, especially when you see others receive that confirmation too!
