Hi I'm Valerie Ward

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am blessed to be a wife, a mother of 5 and a grandmother of 7 amazing kids and I am a Latter Day Saint (Mormon). Although I have a BS degree in nursing I have spent most of my life promoting health and wellness.. Hopefully my life goals will reflect I love and care about people, especially children. I love the natural beauties of this world & changing seasons. I especially love wild flowers and picking wild edible berries! I love truth & admire integrity and find joy in simple things.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon is a complete way way of life for me..It takes the guess work out. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Saints answered all the questions I had as a child and the answers are even more valid today. Questions such as:"Where did I come from?," "Who am I?" and "Why I am Here?" are answered. As a Mormon, my life has a sure plan and purpose. The challenges of life have logical reasons. Every need is met by my commitment to my faith: physically, mentally emotionally, financially and socially. The greater my commitment the greater the joy! Knowing that nothing is fair in this life is more easily accepted when you have an eternal prospective. Knowing that our family, our greatest treasure, can be a forever family gives great comfort and desire to to work needed to invest in long term eternal relationships and endure our trials and hardships well. Having the knowledge that Christ is my personal Savior is so evident in studying the teaching and living the doctrines of my faith. The Book of Mormon clarifies many things in the Holy Bible. I am grateful for these scriptures. I am so Blessed to be a Mormon!

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon creates a desire to seek worthwhile causes and praiseworthy endeavors to accomplish my goals to make the world a better place. I am committed to serve others both in my church and in my community or where ever the Lord calls me to serve! I know service is often not convenient, however will bring the peace and joy so many of us seek. I have been blessed with many wonderful mentors in my life both within my Mormon faith and others from the communities where I have lived. I will be eternally grateful for their example of service. My Mormon faith helps me accept and admire others not of our faith, to appreciate & admire the good done by all people, to assist in all good causes. It also helps me understand the value of forgiveness as I forgive those who offend. Let our Heavenly Father be the judge. Hopefully I realize my job is to be a light., not a judge. As a Mormon I have get hope for the future. Even though I know times may get much worse I will use my hope, my faith and personal commitments to strengthen others through their personal challenges within my spear of influence. Life is good. Life is eternal. We will win & find joy in this life and forever!
