Hi I'm Kevin

I am a delivery driver who loves sports. I am a family man, love to cook, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a hard working gentleman that loves my job. After delivering items for the last 15yrs, I have found lots of time to spend with my family. I have tried coaching various sports, ski instructer, and a part-time baker. But my passion right now is Fantasy Football.

Why I am a Mormon

Just before my second son was born, the wife and I wanted to express Bible related stories to them as they grew up. Some young men came to the door (Elders) and presented a message that my wife couldn't resist. I tried to resist but the Spirit was just to strong. After a few lessons and lots of questions, we decided to be Baptised. That was in 2002. I know that this is the TRUE Church of Jesus Christ and Joseph Smith was and always will be a Prophet of the Church. We currently have a Prophet in Thomas S. Monson and he guides us and leads us in the right direction. I testify to you in the name of Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father. Amen

How I live my faith

Living your faith can be difficult or easy depending the challenges that Heavenly Father gives to you.. Each challenge prepares you for something greater in life. I am currently working with the Young Men's program and Scout Master(BSA). As Ward Mission Leader working with the Missionaries has strengthen me in voicing my love for the Gospel. Teaching the 11 year old Scouts, which I was never involved as a child, was a great learning experience. I have also taught in the Elders Quorum for 3 years. The most effective way of living the gospel, is in my Home Teaching. I get to know so many families and individual. Doing daily prayers and scripture reading has improved my connection with Heavenly Father. It also has improved my communication with my family as well. We try to do activities, family time, and events together to support our love for each other.

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

Kevin
This was the most difficult question I personally dealt with because I had to give up money that I had earned. I know now that without Tithing, the Church has a really hard time growing through out the world. It allows new Temples, Meeting houses, and the use of new technology to connect with members throughout the World. As a commandment, if we pay a full Tithing, we receive Blessing from our Heavenly Father in return. That makes it worth wild for everyone to achieve. Show more Show less
