Hi I'm Eldon

I'm a father, I'm a husband, I'm crazy about aviation, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an aviation and automobile enthusiast. I love to read, play games, and travel. I love spending time with my beautiful wife - seems like everything is better when we share it together. I am a full-time student studying Air Transportation Management. I am a generally happy person, and I always try to look on the bright side of life. I love children, and I can't wait to raise children of my own!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a large family, where my parents taught me all kinds of important values like service, hard work, and family. Most importantly, my parents taught me the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that He is my Savior and Redeemer. Every joy that I experience in this life comes from him. I am a Mormon because I have a testimony that Jesus is the Christ, and that the church that he organized while he was on the earth has been restored in our day. Today we have prophets and apostles, just as in Jesus' day, to lead and guide us and show us the way. I love how the church places such importance on families. My family is so special and important to me. By living righteously, and following Jesus Christ, I know that I can be with my family for eternity.

How I live my faith

I am one of the leaders of the adult men in our congregation, or as we call it, our ward. I help with everything from organizing events, to teaching lessons, to helping new members feel welcome. Service in the church is voluntary. This means that whatever church responsibilities I may have are in addition to my responsibilities as a husband and student. Though I am busy, I would not change anything. I feel like the Lord has blessed me immensely for my service in his church, and I love the feeling I get from helping to move His work forward.
