Hi I'm Casey

I'm a student, aspiring businessman, political junkie and a Mormon!

About Me

I’m a pretty average person with a strong interest in business, politics, and communications. Most guys follow sports and love cars. I follow politics and the latest trends in business. I’m currently attending college at Utah State University, where I couldn’t be happier. I served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the beautiful island country of New Zealand, where I met some of the kindest, most genuine people I know. I was a very blessed person to have served the Lord in such a place, a place that will always hold a prominent place in my heart. I am grateful for the experiences I had there and to be able to see people accept the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that God is a god of order who is unchanging. We read about prophets God called in the Bible; a few that come to mind are Abraham, Noah and Moses. God called prophets then and I sincerely believe that he calls them today. I am a Mormon because I believe that the authority of God has been restored to the Earth in its fullness and that authority resides with those God has called, including a living prophet. I believe that Jesus Christ has atoned and taken upon himself the sins of the world and makes it possible for us to change and repent of our wrongdoings. I know that God loves us, his children, and has provided a way that we can return to live with him again.

How I live my faith

The way someone lives their faith really shows a lot about a person. I'm not perfect at living my faith, but I do the best I can. The biggest word for me with regards to living my faith is OBEDIENCE. God expects us, his children, to show our faith by being obedient to him. We can show our love for and faith in the Lord by being obedient. He expects us to always strive to be better than we are. I strive to live the commandments God has given, and I know that I have received blessings in my life because of obedience. I would imagine every person, like me, has their ups and downs and trials and shortcomings. Life isn’t easy, but I know that through the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, it can become easier.
