Hi I'm Kevin Blood

I love my family. I just graduated from law school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in Phoenix, Arizona. I am 43 years old, have a wonderful wife and four great children. We love living in Arizona with the great weather and ability to do things together as a family. I attended law school at Arizona State University. I spent a summer doing a legal internship in China. It was amazing to see the growth and progress of the country. I love the people and had a fulfilling experience. One of the remarkable things was to see that the church was exactly the same there as it is anywhere in the United States or Europe or Asia.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a family active in the church. I served a mission for two years in Taiwan. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. It has brought me joy, peace, and great happiness. Everyone has challenges and my family is no different. But with the gospel the struggles of life are easier to bear and the perspective is much greater than just the here and now. Life is about learning, growing, understanding each other, and discovering how to serve one another through charitable acts and attitudes.

How I live my faith

I have spent most of my adult life in youth related teaching programs. I have enjoyed working as a scoutmaster and Varsity Scout advisor for over 10 years. I am still a merit badge counselor for 14 merit badges. Currently I am serving as the stake public affairs director and ward choir director and it is a special privilege to focus on sharing the gospel with others.
