Hi I'm Brandon C.

I am an engineer. I am a project manager. I love the Savior. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am an Electrical Engineer with an MBA.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I love the Savior. I live my life with a desire to serve the Lord each and every day. I do my best and when I falter, I get up the next day and try to do better. I sin more than I wish I did, but in the end I know that somehow the Savior can make up for it. When I was 19, I went to kneel down at my bed for nightly prayer. I felt a very gentle nudging from the Spirit to ask if the Book of Mormon was true. I decided I should, and after I asked I was overcome with such a sweet, peaceful feeling that I knew it was true. Immediately after this, another gentle nudging from the Spirit came to ask if Joseph Smith was a prophet. I asked, and the same sweet, peaceful feeling returned, confirming in my mind and heart (Doctrine and Covenants 9) that these things are true. The foundation of our faith rests on our Savior Jesus Christ. I know He lives. I know I can see Him someday. I know some of the sweet feelings I will have when I am in my presence, because I have experienced some of those feelings in this life. I also know that good thoughts are needed constantly to bare us up and to keep us heading toward heaven. I love the Lord because He loved me first.

How I live my faith

The foundation of our faith rests on our Savior Jesus Christ. I know He lives. I know I will see Him someday. I know that these sweet feelings from the Holy Ghost are only a small portion of what awaits us in the next life, if we continue to keep all of God's commandments for the rest of our lives. This places emphasis on doing good continually, every day and to every person we come in contact with, no matter the consequence or the difficulty. We simply only have to do good. "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 7:21). I know that we must also garnish our thoughts unceasingly with good thoughts if we are to endure all things well. Every good thought does indeed come from Jesus Christ, the only true and living God.
