Hi I'm Randy

I grew up in southern United States. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to the most wonderful woman for almost 12 years. I am a father of 3 children, 2 boys and a beautiful little girl in the middle. We have a modest life, and really enjoy spending as much time with each other as we can.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because, at 12 years old, we experienced another tragic death in our family, and a family friend cared enough about us to invite us to church. Although this friend had not been active, they realized that what my family needed was to have our Heavenly Father in our lives. My mother had searched for a church all of her life, and had resolved that it did not exist. But upon her first visit she knew that this is where she needed to be, and where she would raise her family. Upon returning home from this visit she announced that we would now be a church attending family, this news was not well received. But after visiting with the Missionaries and them asking me to kneel down and ask for myself if it this was truley our Heavenly Father's church, and if the Book of Mormon was true, and if Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, only after I received my answer did I know, and then my life changed, and I haven't looked back since.

How I live my faith

Ever since I became a Mormon, I have been amazed at the amount of work that the leaders of this church do and don't receive payment for it. Not only are they in the community serving others and visiting it members monthly, they donate hours upon hours to youth and scouting organizations. Along with Brotherhood and Sisterhood groups, that build unity and strengthen freindships. I love being able to work along side of the local leaders of the church and to be able to see how much they love and care for every person, both Mormon and not.
