Hi I'm Kimberly

I'm a daughter, a wife, and a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother of 3 adorable children. I have a daughter and 2 sons. They keep my very busy. I love to cook, sew and do crafts when I am not cleaning the house, doing laundry, driving people around or changing diapers. Being a mom is certainly the most challenging thing I have ever had to do, but it is the most rewarding in so many ways and it keeps me real. I would not trade anything to be where I am right now in life.

Why I am a Mormon

As a teenager I went to seminary every morning. In seminary we learned about the scriptures and the lessons in them. I remember reading the Book of Mormon for the first time. When I got to the end of the Book of Mormon there was a promise. It reads (Moroni 10:3-5) " 3 Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your hearts. 4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. 5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things." When I knelt in prayer I asked if the things I had read were true. I got goose bumps and a very peaceful feeling come over me. At that moment I KNEW that the Book of Mormon was a book of scripture written by prophets of God and that they Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints was the only true church here on earth. I am so grateful for the gospel in my life. Without it I am not sure were I would be. I am grateful for the blessings I have received through my membership in this church.

How I live my faith

I have 3 children I love and adore. I am a stay-at-home mother. Through my every day life I try and teach my children the correct principles of the gospel. We as a family have a family night every week. During this time together we talk about things we have learned at church and other principles. My children love hearing the stories of the people in the Book of Mormon and the Bible. It makes me happy to know that they love the scriptures. I know that through these times as a family they are able to have any questions answered that they may have and they are able to feel the spirit of the Holy Ghost telling them that things they are learning are true.

What is the Church’s position on abortion?

Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints believe the family is central to Heavenly Father's plan for His children. Adoption is one important way in which eternal families can be formed. There is a wonderful website http://lds.adoption.com/ that explains what we think about adoption. It also give you information about adoption and how it works through LDS Services. Show more Show less

Who is the Mormon prophet today?

Thomas S. Monson is the prophet of the church today. He is guided through the Holy Ghost to teach us the things our Father in Heaven would like us to know. We are blessed to have a living Prophet here on earth today to lead and guide us. Show more Show less
