Hi I'm Brittany

I love ice cream. I love to work out. I'm a hair stylist and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! Thanks for visiting my profile. I am a mother of 3 beautiful girls who are the light of my life. My husband is going to Chiropractic school right now while I stay at home with our little princess's. I work part-time as a hairstylist on the weekends. I love shopping, being creative, and spending time with the people I love.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel really blessed to be a member of the Mormon faith. Even though I was raised in this church, I have had to take a personal journey and discover whether it is true for myself. My belief was not automatic. I remember the first time I knelt down and prayed to know if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was everything I had been taught. I thought it was, but wanted an assurance personally from God. I wondered: Is this God's church restored to the earth? Was Joseph Smith an inspired prophet? Is the Book of Mormon true? I found a private quiet place to pray and knelt down to ask. I was a little nervous as I began, but soon the most peaceful feelings surrounded me. The witness to my heart through the Spirit of God at that moment was soft and sweet. I recognized the feeling. I had felt it numerous times as I attended church and tried to be like Christ. I couldn't help but smile. I was so happy and I knew it was true. The feeling continues to enter into my life as I try to follow Christ. I love the happiness and joy that overwhelm my life when I choose to continue to live the Mormon faith. When I live it, I am happy.

How I live my faith

It can be a challenge to keep God the center of my life with the demands and business of today's world. One thing I do to focus me and keep myself inline with God's will is working with the youth in the church. They are all on a spiritual journey of discovering whether or not they believe. I love taking part in it and watching them learn and grow closer to Christ. My husband and I also try to spend as much time together with our children as we can. We find that being close as a family keeps us focused on what matters most.
