Hi I'm Arden

I enjoy studying film, art, and tai chi. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love books, movies, art, history, and being with people. I love theater, particularly Shakespeare and straight plays. I was able to direct a little in high school and loved it. My dream is to direct professional shows on stage or on film. C.S. Lewis, Walter Rane, and Joss Whedon are my favorite author, artist, and director, respectively. I have many favorite movies and books. Good friends and family fun take up the rest of my time. I love to learn and have fun while I'm at it.

Why I am a Mormon

In Galatians 5 it says, " But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law... If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit." I am converted every day by the love, peace, and joy I feel in this, God's Church. It is His Church, and the powerful truths and blessings I recieve are added testimony to this fact. I am guided and helped by faith. I am still learning and can't say that I "know," too much. I know God lives and loves us. I believe in Christ and His loving sacrifice for me. I believe in the scriptures. I believe in the prophets of history, modern times, and today. I love my family and friends. I am a Mormon because this is the place where I have found the "fruits of the Spirit," love, joy, and peace.

How I live my faith

Through many opportunities of study, service, and instruction, I'm learning much about myself and what I believe. As members, we are always willing and ready to meet new people and share our cherished beliefs. I invite them to follow and come to know our Saviour, Jesus Christ. I am doubly blessed to then see them reap the blessings from the seeds they have sown. I try to be a good friend, a good son, a good brother, a good person. I am grateful for the many blessings of friends and family. Love and the love of Jesus Christ are the greatest gifts in this world. I'm grateful for the many chances I have to both feel and share these loves with others. I am still learning and striving to make my faith a more integral part of my life. Faith is the power that has helped me through all my trials, it has drawn me closer to my family and friends, and is based firmly in the love of Jesus Christ.
