Hi I'm Daniel

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from good old North Carolina. My whole family loves Hockey. It's got to be the greatest sport ever. There are 9 people in my family, 6 boys and 1 girls (not including the parents). So that makes it interesting. I'm not quite sure what I want to do as a career. I really like music and math. So something with that, but we'll see where life takes me.

Why I am a Mormon

Well I was raised in the Mormon faith, but there comes a time where you can't just take your parents word for it. Sure it was a great religion for them, but what about for me. So I did some investigating. Sherlock Holmes style. So I read the Book of Mormon, and in the last chapter of the Book of Mormon, there's a passage written by Moroni. In verses 3-5, he pretty much says, "if you read this and really want to know if it's true, then ask God. And if you ask with a sincere heart, real intent, and having faith in Christ, then the truthfulness of the book will be made manifest unto you by the Holy Ghost." So I was pretty excited, cause that's exactly what I was looking for. So I took that to the test, and recieved an answer. The feeling I got went from my head to my toes, and filled me with peace and joy. And at that moment, I knew that I wanted to be a part of this religion.

How I live my faith

Hmmm...Well I'd say I pretty much just always try to do the right thing. Be nice to everyone and serve others. Yeah. Also I serve in the Church. I've been a teacher for the Gospel Principles class, and been in other leadership positions in the Church. But when it comes down to it, I try to follow the example the Jesus Christ has set for all of us. Who better can we follow?
