Hi I'm Shaun

I feel peace in my life because of the truths I have found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, father of two children, and a friend trying to balance work and family life. I love serving others and finding joy in knowing my purpose in life and who I am.

Why I am a Mormon

My conversion to living the Gospel of Jesus Christ happens daily as I repent of my sins and overcome the natural man. I know that it is my responsibility to search out truth and good in all things. I have felt the Holy Spirit confirm truth to me many times, often confirming to me that I am a child of God and have an eternal purpose in my Heavenly Father's plan.

How I live my faith

I attend church and take the sacrament weekly. The church has given me many opportunities to serve others. This service helps me remain humble and less selfish. I try to read the scriptures and understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ better everyday. I enjoy reading, snow skiing, playing guitar and spending time with my family. I love my neighbors and try to be available to laugh with them and serve them when they need help.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

Shaun
I get this question sometimes. Mormons still love to have fun! Don't ever doubt that. We simply believe in the Gift of the Holy Ghost. Anything that takes over our bodies and possibly causes addiction, takes away our ability to be guided by the Holy Ghost. It can be hard sometimes fitting in to social or work gatherings, but most people respect my decision. It is a great blessing to always be in control of my decisions. Show more Show less
