Hi I'm Rosalie

I grew up in California. I'm a math teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports, especially woman's gymnastics and water polo. I love musicals, hiking, swimming, and hot springs. I am in college working on a Masters program in Mathematics with an emphasis in Teaching. I am co-teaching High School students in an Algebra 2 and Geometry class. I want to teach High School students math and become a wonderful teacher. I have served a Spanish speaking LDS mission, earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Teaching and ran a half marathon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because my parents were my missionaries and I know the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. I know that through His Church we can return home to live with our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ with our families again if we prove faithful. I want to live with them again with my loved ones. I am grateful for the purpose, strength, and perspective the gospel gives to me. I can move forward with faith everyday because I know that with Jesus I can do all things. I know that my Savior wants me to be successful in all I do. I can feel of Their love in all They do for me and for everybody else. I know I follow a prophet and this makes me feel safe. I know that we have been given the Book of Mormon to testify of Jesus Christ and it helps me have greater faith in Him. And because I know the Book of Mormon is true I know that Joseph Smith was called to be the prophet to restore Jesus Christ's Church back to the earth once again. This means everything to me. I am grateful to be a part of this Church and its work. I love it!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by watching over, strengthening, and loving the sisters I am assigned to Visit Teach. I visit with them in their homes and try my best to get to know them and help where I see a need. I am currently called to serve the single sisters in my Stake (student singles wards). I orient the sisters who are my counterpart on the ward level and provide ongoing support. I am their cheerleader! I also live my faith when I keep the commandments and try to do and be better. It is the little things. I live my faith by moving forward with my life!

How does the Church finance its operations?

The Church finances its operations through the members of the Church paying their tithing. As far as running the organization of the Church, there is no paid clergy. Every member gives of their service voluntarily. Show more Show less
