Hi I'm Lozza

I'm a nature freak. I love life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Queensland, Australia and continue to call it my home. I'm a bit of a nature freak and can't get enough of the outdoors. I love travelling and have a strong passion for native Australian flowers. I love macro photography and really enjoy exploring the intricacies of the plant world. Being in nature amoungst Heavenly Fathers creations is when I am at my happiest and brings me much joy, peace, and contentment. I also strive to minimise my impact on the planet and follow a strict vegan diet and lifestyle. I love working with people and currently work as a disability support worker with aspirations to become a registered nurse in the very near future.

Why I am a Mormon

The faith that I have has grown over the years. It has not come all at once.. it has been a process. However, I have come to know and understand through the power of prayer and through the Holy Ghost that Jesus is the Christ. I know that Joseph Smith did indeed see Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I also know that we do have a living prophet and apostles who guide and direct us in these days. I feel at peace and happy with this decision to follow Jesus Christ in all that I do. Even when life is at its very toughest, Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are holding my hand and guiding me through. I know that I am not alone. I know that they love each of us individually and will never leave us. This has certainly been true in my life. Even when I am at a point that I might consider giving up, I am given special strength and I am able to endure my challenges.. and be happy. The gospel makes me happy, despite all the challenges that life throws at me. Being a Mormon has not only enriched my life but it has saved my life. Life can be extremely difficult at times, but I do not have to fear as long as I allow Jesus Christ to be my guide.

How I live my faith

I currently work with the young women, ages 12-17. I love spending time with them. It is a great age. I am striving to be a good role model for them. It is very important that we strengthen and support each other in making good decisions to live virtuous, clean, wholesome lives. I also recently returned from serving a full-time mission in Adelaide, Australia. I LOVED it and have never been happier. Jesus Christ is real and can change us as we allow Him into our lives. It has been a great thing in my life to witness the transformation in peoples life as they have embraced the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I also teach a mission preparation class which is aimed at helping young people become spiritually prepared to serve a full-time mission. I LOVE it!!!
