Hi I'm Tye

I grew up in Idaho. I'm a dad and a husband ;and I love Jesus Christ...

About Me

Family is very important to me; I have two great kids and the best wife in the world! I love the outdoors and can think of nothing better than taking my family to the zoo, fishing, or camping, really anything I can do with my family is the best. I love to hunt, fish, or to be in the wild places of this earth; God has created so many awesome places to explore. I worked in the concrete field for more than 10 years. I recently studied Diesel technology and am now working on diesel engines... I love it! I'm not good at talking about myself, so if you want to know more, you'll have to ask.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I read the book of Mormon, and found it to be true. I gained a testimony and a deep desire to serve the Lord and those around me. I am so thankful to have found the gospel, it has saved my life, and the lives of my kids. Before I was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I was going nowhere but down. Being a Mormon has given me a strong desire to be a better Dad, to help others, and to be the best me I can be. I am far from perfect, but as I try to live as Christ lived while He was on Earth I find I am at peace. Christ lived and died for us to give us a chance to overcome all that give us pain and misery, for this I am truly grateful.

How I live my faith

I guess I live my faith by trying to keep all the commandments the Lord has given us, be a good example to others, trying to show the people around me that love makes a person happier than anything else. I love to serve others, weather they are members of the church or not, I love them. For that is what Christ taught, and that's how He expects me to be. I know I always will be far from perfect, but I try to do all I can as the Lord would have me.
