Hi I'm Dustin

I grew up believing in Christ. I've looked to the cause of helping all His children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I are college students studying in Idaho. I volunteered for a two-year service mission in Ukraine. It was such a wonderful experience that I would never trade anything else for. From what I saw, felt, and learned, I know that the hand of the Lord helps every one who turns to Him. I know that God blesses the family, as he has blessed us repeatedly in all of our needs.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the Church, however I have also searched for my own purpose in life. I tried hard to find the peace that I saw other members of the Church had, and I found it when I searched the scriptures for solace from what I felt. I decided to serve a mission at an early age, and my character was strengthened. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me, that Jesus Christ died for me, and that He also lives for me. He wants me to live with the Father in eternal happiness, and wants that for all of His children. Я знаю, что мой Искупитель жив, что Он дал свою жизнь за каждого из нас потому, что Он любить всех из нас. Я знаю, что наш Небесный Отец любит нас. Мы--Его детей. Он хочет, чтобы мы вернули к Нему.

How I live my faith

Life is hard. Making choices are hard. The only way to "make it" is to turn to the only one who can not only give us peace, but eternal happiness. Eternal. Something that never ends. With that in mind, nothing else matters, and nothing can compare with it.

What is being a Mormon like?

Dustin
Being a member means that you trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, and look to Him as the Savior, Redeemer, and Mediator. These terms mean that He has saved us, He has bought us with His life, and that He pleads our forgiveness to the Father of our souls. His blood was spilled for our sakes, so that we could find forgiveness for the mistakes of the past, and look to the great achievements of the future, for that is why we are here; to live, love, and grow. In so doing, we sacrifice parts of ourselves that really aren't needed. We don't need to have a ton of money, but sufficient amounts. We don't need to be angry, but seek to love always. We don't seek to destroy, but to build up better. That is what Christ does, and that is what it means to be Christian. We need to believe in Him and His teachings, and therefor seek for improvement, for a better hope in our lives and eternal improvement and happiness with our God. Show more Show less
