Hi I'm Patty

I'm a small town girl from Evanston, Wyoming. I now live in Sheridan, Wy with my Hubbs and two daughters.

About Me

I am a stay at home Mom to my two daughters, ages 4 and 2 with another little one on the way! My husband and I have been married 9 years, we are entering our 30's next year, but still think of ourselves as 20! Where does the time go? We love to do things outside and love being with friends and family whenever we get the chance.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a member of the church and I am grateful for that. Now that I am older I am even more grateful to be a member of the church. I know that by raising my children with the same gospel standards I was raised with they can learn how to follow the teaching of how living prophet. I try daily to do the things Heavenly Father wants me too. Although I have a lot of room for improvement.

How I live my faith

I am trying daily to teach my girls to be better each day. Each day brings different experiences and we are here on earth to learn and grow from each new experience. We try to focus on the things we can change and not so much on the things we can't. I am a Primary teacher. I teach the 7-8 year old children every Sunday.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Patty
Many people believe as a member of the church we have no choice in how we live. We however, live the way we do because we believe the standards and morals set by our church leaders will help us become closer to our savior Jesus Christ. Each day we make a conscious effort to live and uphold the standards of the church because we believe them to be true. I often think living the church standards makes and helps me be a better citizen, friend, daughter, mother, and wife. The mormon lifestyle is centered around a loving Heavenly Father, his Son Jesus Christ and our families. I'm so incredibly grateful to have a family and to know the importance of family.
