Hi I'm Andy

I love my family, my friends, the water, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 21 year old college kid. I grew up in Central California and am the oldest of 4 kids. I loved playing Water Polo and swimming in high school and I love to hit the hardwood is some basketball shoes. I am currently serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Chicago, IL.

Why I am a Mormon

I an a member of the LDS Church because I know that the Atonement of Jesus Christ is real, that he is my Savior, that the Book of Mormon is truly the word of God, and that the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ has be restored through a living prophet, almost 200 years ago, by a man named Joseph Smith Jr.. I came to know this through study, prayer, and sincere repentance. I find hope and joy knowing that there is a plan that our loving Heavenly Father has made for each and every one of us to return to live with him once more in the kingdom of heaven.

How I live my faith

I am currently a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This means that for two full years of my life a move away from family, friends, and school and concentrate fully on bringing people to the knowledge of the restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. All full-time missionaries like myself work without pay, relying only on our personal savings and support of family and friends. I truly enjoy the opportunity I have to go out into the community and teach people this wonderful message that is so important to the welfare of our eternal souls. As I do this I try to continually learn more and more about our Father in Heaven, His Son, and His plan for us. And as I learn, I try my hardest to live the best I can to the teaching of Christ and his Gospel.
