Hi I'm Ben

I'm loving life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've grown up all over the world not really having a place to call home. My father was in the Air Force with little say as to where we were to live. I've enjoyed every step with all of its twists and turns. Art has been my passion ever since i figured out how fun food coloring was. I'm serving a mission in Pocatello Idaho where I'm waiting for my visa to Belo Horizonte Brazil. I have a twin brother who has been by my side whether I wanted him there or not. I love him though. Still cant seem to get away from him; he is waiting for his visa to Belem Brazil. My best friend is at home pushing me forward and being my greatest support. Ela esta sempre ai por mim (she is always there for me). Two years is a long, ever-changing time filled with uncertainties but I know there is no other place the lord would have me be.

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up in the LDS faith and dont necessarily have a "conversion" story but I have come to know of the truth through the power of the Holy Ghost. We are not alone in this spiritual war of good and evil; it's raging on around us, we are in the thick of it whether we are aware of it or not. The gospel is my refuge and I know my heavenly father is always there for me. The gospel of Jesus Christ has blessed my life in ways I can't even begin to explain or comprehend.

How I live my faith

I have been called to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and I am loving it. What better way to show my faith than by helping others come unto Chirst and by helping their faith grow. I have to put all of my faith in Jesus Christ each morning as I slowly make my way out of bed and get ready for the day. Without my faith in Christ, what I'm doing would seem ludicrous. I live my faith by showing my faith in Jesus Christ.
