Hi I'm Raul

I grew up in Los Angeles. I love music, I love hangin' with my familia and friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up being one of 5 brothers and sisters. Naturally we were really family oriented. My father and mother worked hard so that we could have everything we needed in life. I grew to really appreciate how I was raised and who raised me. I love my parents. Having my Father pass away was one of the hardest things that we as a family ever had to face. I saw my mother be so strong and carry our family through it. I know with out a doubt that had it not been for the Gospel in our lives my familia wouldnt be what it is now. Loving and strong. Not perfect but willing to work at it together.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a catholic family. We really only went to church on special occasions and so I never really understood who God was. As I got older I had questions that couldnt really be answered, so I thought. Once we met with the missionaries of the "mormon" church, my questions started getting answered. Now I understand the importance of God in our lives, and I am Mormon because of the relationship I've come to form with My father in Heaven. God, Has givin me all I really need. I am a mormon because living the teachings of the church gives a profound sense of meaning and happiness in my life. My desires are that everyone feels the love of their Heavenly Father as I and my family have felt it.

How I live my faith

I have been serving as a misssionary for the past few months. I live my faith by testifying that Jesus Christ is our lord and savior to as many people as I possibly can every day. As a missionary we get the oppertunity to really give our time and energy to the Lord. We also have the privilage to teach others how they can become closer to Christ. Trying hard everyday to live what we teach and teach what we live is how I live my faith.

What do Mormons believe happens after we die?

Raul
The plan of salvation is one of my favorite things about the gospel. As a current missionary serving in Georgia, Atlanta, teaching the plan of salvation has givin me a better understanding of it. Death isnt the end of things. We have a loving Father in Heaven whos made it possible to live with our families for eternity. The passing of my father has been hard but the knowledge that death isnt the end has givin me peace, comfort and a knowing that we will see him and live with him once more. We will live as a family and with our Heavenly Father for eternity. Show more Show less
