Hi I'm Ty!

I'm a fan of the outdoors. Music helps me enjoy life. And absolutly love a good "kid" movie. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small farming community in Idaho, where the wind blows hard and the snow falls harder. I'm in love with the winter wonderland scene! No better place to live than where the sun shines bright with snow everywhere the eye can see. I'm 20 and am serving a mission where I grew up! My parents moved to hot and barren desert of Arizona 3 years ago; me and my little brother going with them. After completing my last year of high school in Arizona, I deemed it best that I join the work force of America while I waited for the time to serve a mission to come. Though i didn't go to school I did however work construction for a year, and was blessed with great knowledge that will be very useful later on in life. Every moment in life can be a opportunity to learn, no matter where you are. Being outdoors is where my life's enjoyment is at. Any activity that gets me into the beautiful exotic creations of my Heavenly Father is what I love doing. I am a fan and high school competitor of wrestling and football. And nothing beats a good solid study session of scriptures. Recently started to play guitar and the ukulele and absolutely love it, and maybe one day i'll be good at it.

Why I am a Mormon

I have wondered at times what it means to be a Mormon and why am I one of them. After a few short moments of quiet pondering, the simplest answers comes to mind; It's how i find joy in life. The opportunity that I have to know that my Heavenly Father loves me and cares about me on a personal level that is constantly reinforced by a living Prophet, is more than enough to keep me a member of the Church. Yet there's so much more to be had! The numberless chances to serve other people, and to feel that love toward others that God wants us to feel is absolutely amazing! Even the endless opportunities to share that simple message of our Heavenly Father's love is worth every second. Now that's just the yummy cake part, but yet we get frosting and a cherry on top! To know that God is leading his children through a living Prophet right know, who holds the same authority that Jesus Christ himself held when he was here, brings up feelings that lets me know that I cannot deny anything about this church. I am a member of His Church because I Love my Heavenly Father and His Son, the Savior of my soul, Jesus Christ and I have a desire to do as they have commanded me throughout my life. Without Them and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - I am nothing.

How I live my faith

I have led the youth around me throughout my years growing up, through callings in the LDS Church. With much effort and sacrifice, I have earned my Eagle Scout Recognition. Striving to help someone in someway daily is a standard that I have set for myself. With countless service projects/ and community programs, I have been able to become friends with many people in the communities where i have lived. I am serving as a Full-Time Missionary for two years Nov2010-Nov2012 in the Idaho Pocatello Mission.
